Event date: Published:

In California, an emergency operation has been deployed after the Sierra Batts mountain mass in the Taho National Forest received a signal from SOS. Three tourists stuck on a cruise and open ridge at about 8600 feet (over 2600 meters), a little bit south of the observation tower.

The disaster message sent to Garmin satellite communications on Sunday, approximately 14: 30 p.m. We got the Sierra County Sheriff's Office, the Wiwad, and the ACARS unit from the WU district.

Due to a very complex mountain relief and the risk of falling underground evacuation was impossible. Crew of the helicopter set up a developer directly to the people who were on the rocks, and reraised all the casualties on the ship.

Context

The rock array of Sierra Batons in the northern part of the Sierra Nevada Mountains is known by its sharp volcanic vertices that are rising above the lake basin in in Lake-Baxin at 2617 meters. On the top of the cliff there is a historical visual tower built by the U.S. forest service at the beginning of the 20th century.

The last section of the route to the tower goes open-source metallic stairs and subplatform platforms that have about 180 steps and are anchored right above the urban environment in a few hundred meters. Due to high exposure of skepticism, unstable climbing weather and sudden stone slopes of cloth require caution when moving the summit.
