Yasinya ski resort

Mid-2000s snapshot. Yasinya is a large mountain community in a wide, picturesque valley on the road from Ivano-Frankivsk to Rakhiv in the heart of the highest ranges of the Carpathians. At that time Yasinya was a popular tourist destination at all seasons of the year and was hardly commercialized. Nearby is Mt. Hoverla (2061 m), the highest mountain in Ukraine, and the then-popular Drahobrat ski resort.

In addition, Yasinya itself had two tow lifts of its own of 800 m and 400 m in length. They are situated in different locations and were best suited for beginning and lower intermediate skiers.

Yasinya's convenient location made it an excellent choice for tourists and vacationers who took day trips to different destinations in the surrounding mountains and valleys by minibus, taxi, or diesel train.

At that time accommodations in Yasinya could be sought via skiukraine.info.
