Adrasan
FAQFrequently asked questions
What is Adrasan and where is it?
This is a seaside village (aka Çavushkoy) in the Kumluj district of the Antalya province in southern Turkey. In fact, there are several small villages that live almost entirely on tourism, with a beach strip of about 2.5 km.
What is the beach like here and should I bring a mask?
The beach is sandy and pebbly, and the water is so clear that on a clear day you can see to a depth of 25 meters. So feel free to take your mask and snorkel - snorkelers will never get bored here.
What to see nearby?
In half a day on foot, you can reach Mount Chimera with its eternal lights that erupt from the ground. The lighthouse at Cape Gelidoña is also nearby, and both are part of the Bejailara Coastal National Park.
How can hikers get here?
The famous Lycian path passes through Adrasan, so pedestrians usually come along it. The rest are reached from Antalya by motor vehicle.
When is the best time to come?
Orient yourself to the summer - that's when daily sea walks along the coast of Antalya work, and the season is in full swing for hiking along the trails.
