What's interesting inside?

There are 168 rooms inside, so you won't be able to get around everything in one visit. There is a collection of over 4,000 weapons and armor, painted Swiss stained glass windows, Sevres and Meissen porcelain and oriental carpets.

When is the best time to come?

The castle welcomes guests from Wednesday to Sunday, approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In November, it is closed for a technical break, so it is better not to make plans for this month.

What makes Peles special among other castles?

It was the first castle in the world, fully equipped with its own electricity. King Karol I clearly loved technical innovations.
