Where to hide from the heat?

Where to hide from the unbearable heat? Personally, I would hide in Carpathians . While cities are finally turning into seas of molten asphalt, the Carpathians not only did not heat up themselves, they still retained the ability to cool. They do this in their own way: with powerful winds, torrential rains and the invigorating freshness of the evenings. Naturally, this way to hide from the heat is not suitable for everyone, but if you decide, you will have a great time.

There are a million options for recreation in the Carpathians (green tourism, sanatoriums, excursions to cities and castles). We can help organize only one of them, but the most radical (in terms of escape from the heat) - hikes in the Carpathians.

Powerful winds bring freshness and precipitation here from the Atlantic. The clouds, encountering mountain slopes on the way, fall in heavy rain (take care of raincoats and jackets). There are no problems with water: springs, lakes, rivers. True, sometimes there are problems with bridges (fortunately, “washed out” bridges are restored quite quickly).

In addition, the Carpathian routes for the most part pass along mountain ranges (rather than along valleys) where the altitude above sea level ranges from 1000 to 2000 meters. Every 100 meters of altitude is minus 0.7 degrees, so in total it will be 7-15 degrees cooler in the mountains than below.

Just in case, I’ll clarify that I’m not a wizard or a certified meteorologist, and therefore I can’t promise that you won’t feel hot even once during the entire hike. I am just telling you the result of my own observations of the weather in the Carpathians. And they quite clearly state that the Carpathian Mountains are a great place to hide from the heat.
