Photo of Yalta - embankment

On the last day of the seminar I managed to go to Yalta for an hour. I just wanted to walk along the embankment and take a couple of photos. More than three years have passed since my previous visit to the Yalta embankment. Even then (and it was winter and at night) she made a good impression on me. Well, this time everything was just wonderful - bright sun, light breeze and quite a few people.

Good lighting left me no choice - I simply could not help but take pictures. The monument to Lenin looked original against the backdrop of palm trees and snow-capped mountains. Local birds worked to give the appearance of snow (or overcrowding) and the top of Lenin's head. Some grandfather was sincerely indignant at my desire to photograph “this Antichrist.” Then I took a photo of them together.

Mothers with strollers, teenagers on roller skates and other wheeled vehicles scurried back and forth. And I tried to catch a moment of calm to take a couple of photos of panoramas of the Yalta embankment. Apparently I didn’t always have enough patience and my panoramas turned out to be populated by photo doubles and photo ghosts. This doesn’t bother me too much - the main thing is that the mountains and sky turned out great.

Numerous fishermen on the pier were somewhat reminiscent of rowers from a Greek galley. The galley turned from a ship into a restaurant, and now the rowers were forced to catch fish for the evening menu. I don’t know what the pirates from Hispaniola have retrained themselves as, maybe they’re just taking pictures with the kids.

Something like a doll, “Lady with a Dog” walked leisurely under the supervision of her attending physician, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. Meanwhile, I was already running back to the seminar - the exam was starting there.
