I want to go hiking
Let it be hard and sometimes dangerous. But this change of environment will definitely be beneficial, it will make you cheer up and give you new strength. Moral and physical.
And then the question arises - where to go hiking?
In order to correctly answer this question for yourself, there are several criteria: your level of physical fitness or hiking experience, season, destination and financial component.
In terms of physical fitness, there are more or less difficult hikes. We indicate this criterion in the description on our website. For example, the Lycian Trail hike in Turkey can be recommended to a novice tourist. An easy, picturesque route along the sea coast. A well-trodden road, along which there are many mini-hotels in case you don’t want to go too far from people’s habitats. The only thing that can interfere is too much southern sun.
And it’s a completely different matter - tours to Nepal. Although even here the abundance of civilization will not let you feel left alone with harsh nature. But you'll have to work hard. And no one has canceled acclimatization to altitude.
Now about the time of year. It is better to go to Nepal in late autumn. Peak season: October or November. But you can go in the spring. And it’s better to go to Carpathians in the summer. Unless, of course, you want to get a sea of extreme sports in a winter hike along the Montenegrin ridge, Gorgany or climbing winter Hoverla. The fact is that until May inclusive, in the Carpathians it is quite possible to encounter precipitation in the form of snow. And I won’t say anything about the rain.
As for the direction, the hikes can be divided into the so-called “foreign” (meaning the far abroad: Montenegro, Turkey, Nepal), the Caucasus (Georgia, Elbrus region), Crimea and the Carpathians. If, of course, we consider Turkey a “far abroad”:) . By the way, citizens of Ukraine and Russia do not need visas when entering Montenegro and Turkey. And you can get a visa to Nepal right at the border.
